Tab Trade - What It Is
TabTrade.com went live in March 2026. Online broker registered in Saint Lucia, regulated by the FSRA. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, a New Zealand-regulated broker.
The BlackBull connection matters. It says the leadership is not figuring it out from scratch. Does not guarantee anything. It is more reassuring than someone with no brokerage experience.
They launched with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same data centres institutional desks use. Most new brokers focuses on ads and sign-up promos. TabTrade led with infrastructure. Unusual for a new broker.
What you can trade: FX, indices, gold, silver, commodities, equities, cryptocurrencies, ETFs. A wide spread. For a platform this new, that coverage is not narrow.
Platforms
They offer: MT5, cTrader, and web trading. Both MT5 and cTrader from the same login. Most brokers pick one platform. Having both matters. You are not locked into one.
MT5 is what most people know. Complete charts, Expert Advisors, massive community. If you know a MetaQuotes platform before, there are no surprises.
cTrader by Spotware is the alternative. Better DOM. Faster charting. cBot support. Plenty of traders prefer it once they try it.
FIX API is offered for automated strategies but is only on the VIP tier ($25,000 deposit). TradingView is reportedly coming. That would round things out when it arrives.
Costs
Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Straightforward. $0 to start. Works for people who want simple pricing.
Edge. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 each way. Total cost: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On EUR/USD, the raw spread is frequently below 0.2 pips. So your real cost sometimes sits below 0.5 pips. That is cheap for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most platforms that run raw pricing at this level require a minimum deposit. TabTrade requires zero deposit.
VIP account. $25,000 minimum. FIX connectivity, faster fills, custom pricing. Not relevant to the average person. Ignore this one unless you move real size.
How Fast Are the Fills
This is the thing Tab Trade stands apart. Equinix data centres. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. Those are not marketing fluff. Most retail brokers operate at hundreds of milliseconds.
Should you care? For short-term trading, it does. The gap between fast execution and sluggish execution is catching the move or missing it. If you trade higher timeframes, it matters less. What matters is the infrastructure is there. That says something about priorities.
Pair that infrastructure with the Edge account pricing and what you get makes sense. Hardly anyone with no minimum deposit run Equinix connectivity.
Regulation
Here is the detail that requires honesty. Tab Trade is under the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No CySEC. No investor compensation scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a dealbreaker, stop reading. Plenty of tier-1 alternatives out there.
That said. The person running it spent years at BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The server placement is expensive. Scam brokers do not pay for Equinix connectivity. None of this guarantee anything. But factor into how you think about it.
